About Shana Marie

I’ve been where you are.

I’m Shana Marie — a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario, a mother, and someone who has felt lost, stuck, and alone in the dark, and found a way through it again and again.

I know what it feels like

For a long time, I felt things deeply and didn’t know what to do with any of it. I would find myself in dark places inside — struggling with my emotions, with relationships, with the weight of life — and behind closed doors, I felt completely alone. Lost. Stuck. Like there was no way out. Underneath it all, I kept wondering what was wrong with me. Why I felt the way I did. Why this kept happening to me.

In those dark moments behind closed doors, I felt alone, lost, stuck — like I didn’t have a way out.

If any of that sounds familiar, you’re not broken, and you’re not alone in it. What I eventually came to understand is that feeling everything so intensely was never the problem to be fixed. It was something I had simply never been shown how to work with. And once I learned how, everything started to change.

The turning point

For me, the turning point came through relationship — the painful, clarifying realisation that I couldn’t rely on someone outside myself to fill the emptiness or carry the pain for me. Life pushed me to do that work myself. My relationship taught me how to love myself, and what that actually means.

From there, I spent years learning — through training, through practice, through living it. I explored a lot, kept what was real, and let go of the rest. What I’m left with is not theory. It’s a path I’ve walked myself, in the dark, more than once — and it’s the same path I now walk with the people I work with.

How I work with you

As a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) offering virtual sessions across Ontario, I work with thoughtful, deeply feeling people — many of them mothers — who look like they’re holding it all together on the outside but feel quietly overextended within. People navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship patterns, and the kind of exhaustion that sleep doesn’t fix.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the deeper questions — why we’re here, and how to live in a way that actually feels meaningful. Along the way I found knowledge and tools that genuinely changed my life, and I’m passionate about helping others connect to that same sense of power, vitality, and resilience within themselves.

My approach is on the leading edge, integrating all parts of you — mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual. I won’t hand you a list of symptoms to manage or talk over your head in clinical language. Instead, I help you see what’s actually happening inside you — clearly, and without judgement — so you can stop fighting yourself and start working with who you really are. Because constantly resisting what is only leads to more suffering. You cannot work with what you cannot see.

The path is three movements

01

Awaken

You cannot change what you cannot see. When you widen your awareness and get honest about what is actually happening inside you, change becomes genuinely possible โ€” often for the first time.

02

Connect

Learn to connect with yourself more deeply than ever before โ€” to truly hear and know who you are. From that place, the parts of you that once felt confusing begin to make sense, and the way forward becomes clear.

03

Align

Live a life where you feel like yourself again โ€” only better. Equipped to meet what comes without the struggle. You see your way through. Every time.
