As defined by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO):
“Psychotherapy occurs when the Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and client enter into a psychotherapeutic relationship where both work together to bring about positive change in the client’s thinking, feeling, behaviour, and social functioning. Individuals usually seek psychotherapy when they have thoughts, feelings, moods, and behaviours that are adversely affecting their day-to-day lives, relationships, and the ability to enjoy life.”
There are a lot of misconceptions around psychotherapy. Many believe that only those with severe mental health challenges should seek the support of a therapist. In reality, almost anyone can benefit from the support and guidance a psychotherapist offers.
Sessions are not only an avenue for self-reflection in a compassionate setting — they also provide new insight into how to achieve greater well-being and deep fulfillment in your life.
My psychotherapeutic and counselling approach is on the leading edge, using evidence-based, innovative strategies to help you implement positive changes in your life. It builds on conventional methods by integrating all parts of the self — mind, body, and spirit.
This means that in addition to talk-based therapy, experiential work also shows up in our sessions. Examples of such modalities include body psychotherapy, energy work, and guided visualization.
In your first session, we’ll work together to complete a comprehensive intake assessment. This helps me better understand your story and the key reasons you’re seeking therapy at this point in your life, and we’ll begin to identify your goals for our work together.
Ongoing sessions are client-centred, promoting self-discovery and self-awareness. All sessions are one hour and include a combination of talk therapy and experiential work.
All sessions are virtual, offered by secure video to clients located across Ontario, Canada. This makes it easier to fit meaningful support into a full life — you can attend from wherever you feel most comfortable.
I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation by phone, so we can connect and see whether working together feels like the right fit. You’re also welcome to email or text any questions you have about psychotherapy and how I can help.
And if you already know you’re ready to dive in, you can book your first session. Everything starts on the contact page.

Yes. What you share within our sessions is held in confidence and governed by the professional, ethical, and legal standards that apply to Registered Psychotherapists in Ontario. There are a small number of legal limits to confidentiality, which I’ll always explain clearly before we begin.
